Very good news from the B1 USA Academy that has participated, with the B1 Teams, in the first tournaments, seeing good results but also interesting sensations.
It has been three consecutive weekends that our B1 USA teams participated in tournaments. They don’t give us the impression that they need a weekend off because they always have the same energy.
After their difficult but encouraging first tournament in Fort Myers & Clearwater, the girls and boys from B1 had a chance to defend their colors once again. It is a pleasure for us to see that the academy is running smoothly.
On the 19th and 20th September, six of our teams converged North Collier Park in Naples, Florida to participate in the Naples Kick-Off.
Our girls and boys teams worked really hard and made us proud as they fought through every game.
They were able to implement what they had been working on during the training sessions following the first tournament in Fort Myers, under the B1 Methodology supervised by Giancarlo Coletta.
The U10 and U12 girls had some tough games but were able to show an improvement compared to their first tournament. They fought until the end and proved to us they were capable of playing with quality.
Our boy’s teams also had competitive rivals but left everything on the field, the U12 were able to find a win against Boca United, and the U10 tied with the winners of the tournament.

Victories in the last tournament
Furthermore, last weekend on the 26th and 27th of September, nine of our B1 USA came along for a new tournament in Lakewood Ranch, the Florida Extreme Cup 2020. There were about 120 teams from all over Florida who attended the tournament.
Incredible performance from our U10 and U13 Girls who end up winning the tournament in their respective categories.
With the U10 having a clean sheet and the U13 scoring 14 goals throughout 3 games is absolutely amazing!
The other teams were able to find some wins like the U10 boys against Auburndale; the U11 drew against Braden River; the U12 won one game against Braden River.
The U14 were able to defeat Tampa Dynamo in their first game in an astonishing 6-0 game! The U15 also won their first game against Florida Premier FC with a convincing 3-1 end result.

We congratulate all the teams that participated in different tournaments. We have been able to observe already an improvement of our teams and sometimes they even surprised us.
Another huge congratulation to the two girl teams who were able to lift the trophy, and we are looking forwards to the next tournaments!
