Eight months ago, we were delighted to announce the arrival of a new goalkeeper to B1 Soccer Academy, Ivan Sarrablo. Not only he was incredibly talented, but he was a nice and hard-working person with whom we shared really good moments!
Unfortunately, Ivan decided to part ways with us because he was too far from his hometown of Boltaña, Huesca. It was a hard decision for him as he was feeling good at the Academy, but his urge to stay close to his family and friends was greater than anything.
The last time we discussed with him, he expressed his sadness about leaving the Academy and Barcelona, but he was still feeling grateful for the 5 months here that allowed him to learn a lot.
For him, coming to B1 Soccer Academy to dedicate himself entirely to football was like a dream come true.
Ivan decided to take his shot in SD Huesca, a first division team next to his home town. For now, he has been leased to Monzón Juvenil Preferente so Ivan could acquire more playing time and experience. This is very important as it is his first year in the youth category.
Anyways, since he left Barcelona, he has been training with both teams 3 days a week. Let’s say the talented goalkeeper is not wasting any time and working hard! By the way, his aspiration this season is to play in the starting eleven in SD Huesca.
We are sure Ivan can get there, he has the mental and physical strength necessary to get to the top level in Spain. We wish him good luck and we are hoping to see you soon!!
