Sergio Alfaro has been our Goalkeeper since the foundation of B1 Soccer Academy. His departure is surely evoking a bittersweet feeling to us, but we support him in his choice of moving to Costa Rica to chase his dream!
Indeed, Sergio decided to move to Costa Rica to chase his dream of becoming a better player and being able to compete in a professional environment.
Moreover, as Costa Rica is his home country Sergio has also the chance to be close to his Family which is really important for him.
He joined the second division AD Aserri FC where he hopes he will have the chance to play and improve as a player and a person.
Furthermore, in his new team, Sergio has a complete schedule as he trains every day from 7:45 to 10:30 and goes to the gym at least 3 times a week.
At the moment, his team is aiming for the championship and to become one of the best in their league. Sergio feels really involved in those seasonal goals and is committed to give his best to help the team achieve them.
He is really determined to improve as much as possible in the shortest time, because he would like to come back in Spain to compete in one of the best leagues in the world.
Finaly, we are really happy that Sergio found a place in a professional team, even though he is so far from us. Anyways, like he said, his dream would be to come back in the Spanish league and be able to compete in it.
We wish you the best Sergio and hopefully you will come back sooner than expected!
